Nepal's parliament has elected a new Prime Minister. 

Sushil Koirala, the leader of the Nepali Congress Party, secured the position after a last-minute power-sharing deal on Monday. Koirala is from the Banke district of Nepalgunj, a constituency where many residents feel forgotten by politicians. Residents hope the new prime minister will follow through on his election promises to bring peace and security to the region. Al Jazeera's Subina Shrestha reports from Banke District, Nepal.
