Bhandafor :Mother, son held on charge of 'killing' father

Morang police has arrested a mother and her son for their alleged involvement in the murder of the son 's father on Thursday. Sushila Kamat, 35, and her 17-year-old son Bibek Kamat of Biratnagar-1, Belgachhi in the district were arrested on the charge of murdering Sushila's husband and Bibek's father Teju Kamat, 40, on Wednesday night. They had been absconding after committing the crime and police arrested them on Thursday afternoon, said DSP Dipak Pokharel.

 

Meanwhile, a woman was killed in a road mishap at Dulari of Morang district, along the East-West Highway on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Uma Khadka, 51, of Mauwa-4, Panchthar district, police said. RSS
